Draped throughout the Himalayan chain, which borders on the highest peaks, Nepal is a fascinating kingdom, such that a single journey cannot be enough to exhaust its charms. The age of its history, the richness of its culture and the traditions of its various ethnic groups, combined with the beauty of its landscapes, make up some of its attractions, as well as the opportunity to perform some of the most wonderful treks in the world.

Beyond the temples and palaces bearing the mark of the ages, beyond the mountains that encircle the Kathmandu Valley, another “kingdom” rises to the sky. The “snow house” – Himalayas in Sanskrit – irresistibly attracts walkers, mountaineers or adventurers from all over the world.

Stuck between India and Tibet, it stretches from the rich subtropical forest to the high Himalayan peaks: from the tiger habitat in Chitwan and Bardia to the steep hunting grounds of the snow leopard. Climbing the side of a single valley, you can be sweltering in the shade of a banana palm tree in the morning and shelter from an afternoon snowstorm.
